The Congressional Budget Office reported this week that federal workers made lots of money!! In fact federal employees on average earn hourly wages 22 percent higher than comparable private sector workers. On February 1 the US House easily passed a GOP proposal to extend the pay freeze for federal workers through 2013. The bill — HR 3835 — passed by a 309-117 vote. Must be an election year!
