The Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed greenhouse gas rule shows a lack of understanding of the country’s energy concerns.
In addition to ending the use of coal as a power source in the U.S., Tom Borelli of The National Center for Public Policy Research says American coal will be exported to China, putting the United States at a disadvantage for cheap power.
“This is a lose-lose for the American people,” he decides. “We are the Saudi Arabia of coal, and yet President Obama through the EPA is preventing us from using that natural resource.”
