Our Monthly Meeting is this Saturday, July 26
The Venango County Tea Party Patriots will meet Saturday, June 26 at 9:00 am at Kings Restaurant. Come early if you plan to eat breakfast.
This Saturday, we will have staff from the Oil Region Library Association (ORLA), which operates the Franklin, Oil City and Cooperstown Libraries. They will share with us about the referendum they have proposed for the November ballot this year. If the referendum passes, it will create a permanent funding stream for the libraries by adding a Special Library Tax at the rate of .25 mills on all taxable real estate within the county. Come get informed on this issue and join a general discussion about local taxation.
4H Fair is August 2-9
The Venango County TEA Party Patriots will have a booth at the 2H Fair, August 2-9, again this year. Join us in promoting the TEA Party in the community. There will be a sign up sheet at this week’s meeting.
