An out of control budget, rule by executive decree, the dissolution of the separation of powers, legislation from the bench of activist judges – the very concepts of the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and the Republic that was established by our founding fathers are in great distress.
The Venango County Tea Party Patriots will meet on Saturday, March 28 at 9:00 am at Kings Restaurant in Franklin to consider one possible solution; the topic will be a Convention of States – one of the Constitutional avenues for amending the U.S. Constitution.
The speaker will be Steve Davies, PA Director of The Convention of States. Will it be a run-away convention run by liberals whereby they will rewrite the constitution or is it an effective and timely way to take back our country? The public is invited to attend. For more information call 814-671-7110 or visit www.vctpp.org
Steve Davies has a degree in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M and now lives in Beaver County, PA. Influenced by Mark Levin’s book “The Liberty Amendments” dealing with Article V, he volunteered to be a Convention of States Captain and then took the role of State Director in 2014. Steve states “I am involved in COS for God and Country and for the sake of my children.”
Come early and enjoy a great King’s breakfast, or come at 9:00 for the meeting; either way, come and get educated on this important topic and decide where you stand!
