“EPA is, in our opinion, conducting illegal human experiments at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine,” Milloy reports. “EPA is, for example, pumping very high concentrations of diesel exhaust into the lungs of elderly people … asthmatics and people with metabolic syndrome. We’re trying to get it stopped.”
A component of diesel exhaust is PM2.5. In a 2011 hearing (video) on the EPA’s regulatory planning, analysis and major actions, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said that PM2.5 causes death.
“It doesn’t make you sick,” Jackson declared. “It’s directly causal to dying sooner than you should.”
That issue is key, as rules in the Nuremberg Code include the avoidance of all unnecessary suffering and injury, as well as deaths or disabling injuries.
